Almost everyone in the world has a phone and is probably most used for contacting people. There are not a lot of dangers whilst using your phone but here are the couple of dangers.

Bullies use phones as a way to target or upset someone. They do this by sending threatening calls or messages of which could upset you. If you are being bullied, try to stop them from contacting you, tell a parent and stop whoever it is from bullying you.

Be careful of downloading things from the Internet at home or on your phone to your mobile because there could be a virus getting details or money from your phone.

Lots of people around the world have email accounts. Emailing is a great way to keep in touch with family, friends and even people around the other side of the world. Obviously, with so many people using it there are some dangers to emailing which is what I’m is trying to help you avoid.

Bullies also use emailing as a system to target people. They do this in various ways such as sending threatening emails, or spreading rumours across to people. If you receive any sort of threats from bullies make sure to tell someone like a parent, then show them the email and find a solution to make the bullies stop.

Make sure to never give away your password to anyone because with your password they could send emails to friends and family pretending to be you. If you remember to be wise you can enjoy the good things about emailing and not have to worry about the bad.

Millions of  people around the world use social networking and it can be fun to use, but only if you are safe and use it wisely. It is important that you learn how to use sites like Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, Myspace and others safely as you can never know who’s viewing your site. It could be your most trusted friend, or could be a complete stranger.

You should only allow friends to view your site, this is because there are people that might not have intent for good by viewing your site and getting photos and information from you. You can stop strangers from seeing your site by changing the security/safety settings to high. You wouldn’t talk to strangers in real life just walking down the street so why talk to them or let them see things about you online. Always remember STRANGER DANGER! You should never meet up with anyone you dont know even if you think they are kind, they might be the opposite and be pretending to be someone else.

Bullies can use social networking as a way to bully you, so if they are make sure to first, tell someone and also block them from entering your site. Also, don’t be afraid to use the report button and stop the bullying forever. Don’t suffer in silence!

Make sure to have a complicated password which no one will know. Never give your password away to anyone because, with your password, they could hack into your account and say things or upload things that you won’t want.
